Terms of Service & Rental Agreement
1) Services
We provide steel shipping/storage containers for short‑term and long‑term rental, sale, and modification across Michigan. Containers remain our property unless sold under a separate bill of sale.
2) Rental Term & Payment
- Standard rentals are month‑to‑month unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due in advance each month. Late payments may incur fees or retrieval.
- Quotes exclude taxes, permits, and site‑specific costs unless specified.
3) Delivery & Placement
- Delivery is curb‑side or on‑site via tilt‑bed trucks.
- Customer provides safe, level, and accessible ground for placement.
- Additional charges may apply for relocations, blocked access, or extra time on site.
- We are not liable for underground damage unless caused by our gross negligence.
4) Use of Container
- Use for lawful storage only. No hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials without written approval.
- No structural alterations, painting, or welding without permission.
- Customer is responsible for loss, theft, or damage during the rental period.
5) Ownership & Return
- Containers remain the property of Steel Tough Containers.
- Upon termination, customer provides unobstructed pickup access.
- Cleaning/repair beyond ordinary wear may be charged at market rates.
6) Indemnity
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Steel Tough Containers and its employees from claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of use, placement, or contents of the container.
7) Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the rental fees actually paid for the period in question.
8) Termination
Either party may terminate by written notice. We may terminate immediately for non‑payment, misuse, or unsafe conditions.
9) Website Use
- Content on this website is provided “as‑is.”
- You may not copy or republish site materials without permission.
- We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version.
10) Governing Law & Venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Venue for any dispute is Ingham County, Michigan.
